Too much to handle?
The picture is fine, but now and then the TV reboots itself. That could be annoying, especial if your favorite team is playing.
Another interesting feature is the smart TV function. It just stopped working, but now it works again, but the youYube app, I´m not kidding you, here it comes; you can´t watch movie clips with it. Seriously I don´t think Philips could do worse if they let Samsung develop there smart-TV functions.
Also when I upgraded my TV, my memory card got disconnected and had to be formated, which ment that I lost all of my recordings on the memory card.
If you have a old decoder you can watch one channel and record another. Whit this ultra new built in decoder, you can just record what you are watching, Philips just brought your television watching experience back to the 1990:s

Excellent picture quality, got it hooked up to my Virgin Tivo box. Totally addicted to Ambilight feature. Great sound, has good depth on base. Stunning design.

this product has a great design
Smart tv is not very comfortable. Sometimes tv freezes and can't switch on with remote. Shoud make some bug fixes in software. Otherwise is Ok.

Embarrassingly bad product.
Picture is good, sound reasonable - as a tv it's an ok product.
Nothing else is worth the expense.
Smart TV? About as smart as the petunias on my balcony. The interface couldn't be slower, less responsive and more unusable if i had to construct the menu by hand myself every time i switched on the TV.
iPlayer - "The requested page is not available at the moment". Permanently unusable (it did work for 1 week and has presented me with that helpful message ever since).
no support for players provided by other channels and won't work because of no flash support
The browser? Well I'm still waiting for it to load the first page I requested 2 weeks ago.
It isn't worth trying any other function as I don't have half a lifetime to determine whether or not it works - results so far suggest they won't.
I have a 22inch TV by another supplier whose Smart functionality, speed and capability just blows this one away.
Instead of investing effort and money in a fancy, clever remote, Philips would have been better focusing on making work the functions for which the remote is intended to be used.
I gave it 1 star because 0 isn't allowable.
Simply not worth the expense.
