This product is ok, but could have been designed much better for top of forhead and feet/lower ankle area.
I had been using this solarium on and off for around two years. When I first started using it it was while I was relaxing on my bed, but I noticed I was not tanning that well. I spoke to a manager of a sunbed/beauty salon, and she said it could be that I'm way too far away from the solarium/tubes. I tried to lower the solarium, but it would only lower to a certain height, which I found rather annoying, as my bed is quite low. In the end I purchased an inflatable bed to raise myself a bit higher, so I could be closer to the solarium and tubes. However, this was a great inconvienence having an inflatable bed hanging around. I also found the plastic stips at the top and bottom of the solarium way too wide, as it stopped the rays tanning either the top of my forehead/head and/or my feet/ankle areas. I feel these strips could have been designed much slimmer, as they really did not need to be that wide. I then decided I would start tanning while standing up in front of the sunbed, as I had enough of the inflatable bed hanging around. Also, by having the solarium standing upright with me standing in front of it I was able to get closer to the solarium. Yet, this was no way near as relaxing as laying down. The wide strips, as mentioned earlier were still a problem. So I would alternate between standing on a pile of books, so my feet and ankle areas would get tanned and then o another occasion I would higher the solarium (in the standing position) so my forehead/head would get tanned. It became a pain in the backside. The solarium could have been more curved, as it did not tan my sides very well, in fact I had no other choice but to stand sideways to tan my sides. Also, when you turn the solarium in the upright position, it will only turn one way, so you end up with the timer being at the bottom of the solarium when you are standing up. It would have been so much better to have designed the solarium so the timer would be at the top. I have left some pros but more cons. I eventually gave the solarium away and started to visit a local solarium salon, which is rather annoying, as it would be so nice to tan in my own home when it suited me and not have to worry about opening and closing times and spending out money. In a way I felt this solarium was a waste of money, but hey, we all learn by experience.
