I found this charger with its adaptors tremendously useful since it enables me to charge quite a number of my phones, MP3 players and Sat=nAV FROM THE ONE THING WHETHER i AM AT HOME OR ABROAD provided I remember to take a further adapter for 3 pin

Strictly best to only charge USB devices
Ran a test with this particular charger with various devices that meet the USB specification in regards to charging which were the following:
ZEN X-Fi, Samsung E870, Motorola SLVR RED (L7)
All charged completely fine and without problems or issues but however when trying to charge a Nokia N73, things began to go right downhill from there.
Problem being despite at the time I bought one, Phillips stated that it was compatible with the phone (stated in black and white on the compatibility sheet) but it wasn't and unfortunately the circuit that cuts out the charge and indicate by having the blue light flash when charging had done died.
Now what I'd had done in regards to the problem that happened:
Connected the USB cable followed by the suitable connection to connect to the USB cable for the phone, plugged in the charger to the mains and started charging fine at first until within thirty seconds. When it got to thirty seconds, the charger had cut out and stopped charging the phone, so disconnected the charger from the mains and plugged it back in and then the above problem mentioned earlier started.
Now on to the reason why I know the circuit had died:
Because tried with one of the other devices previously mentioned and when fully charged, there was no flashing indication from the blue light.
So if this charger has problems charging a Nokia N73, then the claims that it's compatible with charging the Nintendo DS is null and invalid. Also if Phillips for some mysterious reason (if it gets mentioned) that it can charge a PSP, then I would think twice before doing so.
