    CT-like visualization

     

    SmartCT Soft Tissue  generates a CT-like visualization of soft tissue and supports stroke diagnosis in three ways. A non-contrast scan aids detection of early ischemic changes. An early phase scan helps to identify the proximal occlusion. A late phase contrast enhanced scan supports detection of collaterals.

    SmartCT Vaso allows visualization beyond the clot with peri-procedural imaging of the distal vessel aspects in ischemic stroke. SmartCT Vaso is an acquisition technique based on a Cone Beam CT scan and an intra-arterial contrast injection. It allows visualization beyond the clot with peri-procedural imaging of the distal vessel aspects in ischemic stroke. The tests were designed and supervised by Use-Lab GmbH, an independent and objective usability testing engineering consultancy and user interface design company. The tests involved 31 US-based clinicians (16 physicians and 15 technicians) and 30 European-based clinicians (15 physicians and 15 technologists), who performed procedures using Azurion in a simulated interventional lab environment. Results from case studies are not predictive of results in other cases.
