These headphones are, quite frankly, a revelation—sumptuously comfortable, as if tailored by a Savile Row upholsterer, and the sound… well, it’s less listening and more immersion. Every note rendered with the precision of a master artisan. A delightful indulgence, really.

Had these headphones for approx 1 month and purchased for listening to music via my laptop. They feel and are made solid, although I am not a big fan of the second larger headband, based purely on looks. The wire provided is more than long enough and the whole build quality is excellent, including ear pads. I listen to a wide variety of music (like most) and cannot say that these headphones lacked in any musical genre. The range of tones these headphones produce are excellent, and they have not struggled or distorted once!

These are the best headphones I've tried, including brand leaders, under £200. The sound quality is excellent, authentic and very pleasing. They are comfortable to wear.

The built is like a tank, the ear cups cushions are soft and uses memory foams, so comfortable even for a long period of use. The sound is amazing, you don’t need to use an amp to drive it, trembles and mids are well balanced, the bass response are wide, tight and deep.

Best head phones I have owned, my other head phones are sennheiser hd 598 and hd 380pro’s . the 598’s are a bit flat sounding, the 380’s are ok but are not spacious as they are closed back. The x2hr are the best of both worlds, nice bass response and open sounding . Superb!!

The sound quality is superb, They float on my head unnoticed and produce wonderfully clear and directional audio (seriously the sound-stage is insane) Build quality is great, I can't notice anything the other reviewer mentioned. Very impressed, highly recommended

The most surprising thing about these open-back headphones is how well the bass frequencies come through. Good presence and an open sound stage make them great for a lot of applications such as music, gaming and watching movies. Highly recommended.

Tijdens de vakantie zag ik dat de Philips X2HR hoofdtelefoon via Amazon voor (tijdelijk) een erg aantrekkelijk bod beschikbaar was (€85,-) dus ik heb meteen de aankoop opdracht geplaatst. Dit is echt een old school top ontwerp, in combinatie met de stereo thuis maar vooral ook met de Sony Walkman met Fiio ondersteuning is het een geweldige ervaring, toen ook gelijk maar van QED de audio J2J erbij (kabel) als een mooie upgrade. De afwerking voelt solide en degelijk aan, het geluid is ruimtelijk en de bas is beslist niet overheersend maar juist “in control”, de akoestische beleving is ruimtelijk zonder overdreven te zijn maar gewoon mooi transparant. Dit doet mij denken aan mijn Magnepan’s die een gelijksoortige geluidsbeleving neerzetten. Al met al een echte aanrader, zelfs nu nog voor rond de €130 op Amazon is het nog steeds een koopje.

Ho acquistato la cuffia X2HR dopo aver letto recensioni positive su vari forum, la qualità dei materiali è ottima, il suono eccezionale con bassi profondi ma non invadenti, medi e alti precisi con una spazialità sorprendente per una cuffia. Sono un ascoltare di musica in cuffia e ho altre cuffie di marchi blasonati (Sennehises,Audio Tecnica, Beyerdynamic,Grado. questa Fidelio secondo me compete alla grande anche su prodotti di alta fascia, va collegata però a sorgenti di qualità. Nota dolentissima è che non esistono ricambi quindi non è possibile sostituire soprattutto i padiglioni che sono la parte che prima si consuma. Credo che Philips debba assolutamente cambiare la politica di assistenza ai ricambi altrimenti perderà sicuramente tante vendite e purtroppo questo lo si scopre solo nel momento in cui si ha necessità.
