good.not great but still ok for the 300 euro that i pay
Reads all video formats i use: mkv, divx, blueray, and all from a memory stick o4d external hdd up to 32 g. Still the image is not 100% clear and can not be adjusted more. It is a great product for home use with family and friends. Like, it is usual to philips there was no battery for remote control and no cable for computer connection which will cost you another 35 euro.

well bundled with all cables : vga, av, rgb composite, usb adapter. also in box with remote controller which was very useful when used in a classroom. brightness of 30 lumens was sufficient when light off even in daytime. played many audio and video formats with quite good loudness. at night might be heard little colling fan but its nothing compared to bigger projectors. in slide show once paused, when mowed to next slide there was no popping menus on the screen. it has no PDF nor PPS(power point) capabilities but those can be converted to jpeg format easy. also as it staded it works for about 2hrs when on full brightness and longer when in eco mode. at night lower brightness was in my opinion advantage as it wont hurt eyes. also 800x600 format is advantage over many piko projectors with 854x480 as a proector screen is filled in format 4:3 which is better when using OS.
some people might find it not as slim as acer piko or optoma piko but it still will fit in coat pocket. also it uses LCoS displays instead of DLP but I had already 2 DLP piko with failing DMD chips from mentioned above manufacturers. advantage of DLP was beter contrast but it failed easly within approx 300hrs. Philips PikoPix already working over that time with about 2300hrs as sometimes it works of mains all day and all night continously.

We got upgraded to this product because the one be low it was not available. it seemed all very very to start, usb connectivity and sd card as well as ability to link to computers.
the photo display i was impressed with HOWEVER.
if your buying this for videos which i was -- IT DOESNT WORK!!!
nor me, or the people at the shop could get it to play ANY videos we connected to it.
furthermore it says that it is compatible to many .mov etc, however it doesnt. the only one it recognised was .mov
this was such a disappointment as the case was beautiful its light and really easy to use....

Not very suitable for photo presentations
A significant attraction for me to buy this projector was the opportunity to save images to the hard drive in order to give photo presentations without the need for a laptop and cables.
One major flaw with this product is that if using it to give a slideshow presentation using photos, the period that each image shows before automatically moving on to the next one is a selectable range between just 2 and 20 seconds. If you want the image to remain on show for longer, there is no other option other than to press play and then pause each time, which means that for several seconds a banner with a play and then a pause icon obscures the image and gives a very unprofessional look.
Hopefully this relatively simple problem can be overcome with a software update from Phillips......?
